Perfect Fit Training Solutions
was inspired by my own love of exercise and delight in motivating others to achieve their training goals. I registered the business in September 2007 on completion of a Certificate III in fitness and Certificate IV in personal training.
However my experience in health and fitness extends beyond recent study to a lifetime of sport and training, years of which was devoted to triathlon and ultra-distance racing. I have experienced the immense personal pride and satisfaction that comes from finishing multiple ironman triathlon races and know that all-round enrichment comes from achieving goals and feeling great about your body image.
These days I still love training hard, I just spend less time getting it done. I have discovered a love of HIIT and CrossFit style training and the metabolic disturbance it creates in such a short amount of time. When I’m not training clients, I enjoy a run or walk on the beach with my border collie Bo, or some quality cross-training or strength training in my home studio. In a past life I completed a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and media studies at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba and work as a sports and news journalist for five years. I have featured as a fitness contributor with the Gladstone Observer newspaper.
